(Valley City, ND) -- The Valley City Fire Department says a home on Second Street and Ninth Avenue Southeast froze over as crews attempted to put out a fire Sunday morning.
Firefighters spent more than 14 hours trying to put out hot spots inside the home. Due to the freezing temperatures outside and the amount of water they had used, the house froze over.
The cause of the fire, meanwhile, is still under investigation.
