(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota Tax Commissioner Ryan Rauschenberger say taxable sales increased sharply in the second quarter of 2021.
The second quarter sales numbers are over 20-percent higher than at the same time last year. The biggest increase happened in Billings County, where taxable sales were up 75-percent.
Rauschenberger expects positive increases in much of the state in the third quarter.
