(Sterling, ND) -- This year's drought could negatively impact North Dakota's honey production.
Currently 720-hives are registered statewide. Beekeeper Rocco Byren keeps his in Sterling and says he's worried about production this year. Each of his hives produces about 50-pounds of honey.
Last year, North Dakota sold more than 61-million dollars worth of honey.
