(Watford City, ND) -- State fire officials estimate a wildfire in the north unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park has burned nearly three-thousand acres, thanks to high winds yesterday that helped the blaze grow. Fire crews worked through the night last night and hope to have it under control in the next day or two. Fire officials say the blaze is a reminder to all North Dakotans not to throw anything out of a car window or do anything that might create a spark and start a fire.
