(Minot, MN) -- The Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot is mourning the loss of Jabari, one of its baby giraffes.
The zoo says the calf was found dead in his barn by a zookeeper on Saturday morning. Jabari reportedly got his head caught on the cover of his hay feeder, panicked, and broke his neck when he tried to pull away.
Jabari was born at the zoo last August, and staff members say they're looking into ways to prevent this from happening again.
