(Burlington, ND) -- A major fire that started with a barn fire near Burlington, North Dakota, has finally been brought under control.

The blaze, which began on Sunday, spread to nearby buildings and numerous cars on the property. Strong winds exacerbated the situation, making firefighting efforts challenging. The fire destroyed a barn, four garages, and approximately 200 vehicles. No injuries were reported.

The fire was attributed to a garbage burn at the farmstead that spiraled out of control.
