Former ND Lieutenant Governor dies at 93

(Grand Forks, ND) -- Former North Dakota Lieutenant Governor Lloyd Omdahl has died at the age of 93.

Omdahl passed away in Grand Forks yesterday with his son and daughter at his side. He was appointed Lieutenant Governor in 1987 and remained in office when Governor George Sinner was re-elected the following year.

Sinner and Omdahl were the last Democrats to serve in the North Dakota Governor's office.
