(Fargo, ND) -- Senator John Hoeven is sharply criticizing the Biden Administration for the massive surge of illegal immigrants entering the country at the U.S. southern border.
"When President Biden ran for office he told you, he told everybody that he basically wanted an open border. Not only that he was going to have an open border but that any and all people who come here illegally he is going to qualify them for benefits right away," said Hoeven.
Hoeven says no new federal laws are needed to stop the flow of migrants across the border.
He says enforcing existing laws would be sufficient.
Hoeven says Biden "wants an open border".
The senator made the comments while appearing on The Flag's "What's on Your Mind".
