(Bismarck, ND) -- Grand Forks County officials plan to submit a bid to have Grand Sky aviation park host military drone research and development operations.
The Grand Forks Herald says the final proposal from the county to the Department of Defense is for seven-point-five-million-dollars.
No negotiations have taken place although those talks are expected once the bid is submitted.
Grand Forks County Administrator Tom Ford tells the Herald the project is "largely conversational" and no decisions have been made.
