(Fargo, ND) -- The federal trial of former North Dakota Senator Ray Holmberg has been postponed to September 9th.

Holmberg is accused of receiving child sex abuse material and traveling to the Czech Republic with the intent of sexually abusing children. The postponement is not related to the recent discovery of cellphone data belonging to the late Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem in connection with the case.

The trial is scheduled for five days in Fargo.
