(Bismarck, ND) -- A campaign finance watchdog organization has filed a Federal Election Commission complaint against a North Dakota business.

Head East LLC is accused of being a "straw donor" to the Best of America PAC, which supported Governor Burgum's presidential campaign. A straw donor is a person or entity who illegally uses another person's money to make a political contribution in their own name.

Head East LLC reportedly donated $150,000. The complaint alleges that the business may be a bogus company that appears to exist "only on paper".
