Gas prices remain steady and drop slightly into holiday weekend across Minnesota and North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND) -- Gas Prices are down slightly in North Dakota and Minnesota for the holiday weekend according to AAA.

The average price for a gallon of regular in North Dakota is $3.13 cents, down two cents compared to Friday. Minnesota prices are even lower, with the current average for a gallon of Regular being $3.08 compared to $3.10 from yesterday. In Cass, Richland, Trail, and Barnes Counties, gas is below $3.11 cents on average, and in Clay, Norman, Wilkin, Becker, and Otter Tail counties, gas prices are below $3.21.

The average price per gallon at the pump nationally is $3.26, with the highest average prices sitting at $4.91 per gallon in California.
