(Dickinson, ND) -- BNSF has conducted the first of three hazmat training seminars for first responders and emergency personnel in North Dakota.
The training yesterday was held at the trainyards in Dickinson.
Officials say railroad incidents involving hazmat issues have decreased by 70-percent since 2000.
Yesterday's workshop will better prepare the response in case a derailment or a hazmat emergency arises.
