Governor Burgum: Presidents should not be making decisions about books on library shelves

(Fargo, ND) -- Governor Doug Burgum says the country needs a president focused on the challenges we face as a nation, not one making decisions on what books should be on library shelves.

Burgum appeared on "Meet the Press' yesterday and said what books are in which libraries is not an issue that should take up a president's time.

He also said people should not expect the president to weigh-in on every issue.

Burgum jumped into the race for the Republican presidential nomination last month.
