(Bismarck, ND) -- Wildfire smoke is continuing to cause hazy skies and poor air quality in North Dakota.

Air quality in the western part of the state is listed as "moderate", while air quality in the eastern part of the state is listed as "unhealthy". The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality is recommending that people limit their exposure by not spending long periods of time outside. An approaching weather front is also expected to bring more smoke into the region.
