(Arthur, ND) -- The anticipation is building in Governor Burgum's hometown as he is expected to announce his bid for the presidency next week.
The announcement will come in Fargo but residents in Arthur are excited to see if a home-grown political figure could become a national leader.
Regardless of whether he wins or not, people tell KVRR-TV that Burgum's effort alone will shine a light on North Dakota.
They like the idea of having someone in government from a small town who understands what their lives are like and what they think about a variety of topics.
