North Dakota Vision Zero's April enforcement period numbers released

(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota's Vision Zero is releasing their numbers for the month of April.

Of the 611 additional citations, a majority was for distracted driving (264), but other categories include speeding (148), suspended or revoked licenses (22), uninsured motorists (24), not wearing a seatbelt (27), and various other traffic violations (62). The increased enforcement period is part of Vision Zero's crackdown on distracted driving numbers in an effort to bring the number of fatal crashes to zero.
