(Bismarck, ND) -- Police agencies across North Dakota have boosted patrols to keep the roadways safe this holiday weekend.
The Click It or Ticket Campaign is underway and officers will be enforcing seat belt use if you are stopped for another reason and not wearing one. That law changes as of August 1st when the new Primary Seatbelt Law goes into effect, and officers will be able to stop drivers if someone inside the vehicle is not buckled up.
