State superintendent won't comment on Fargo Public Schools not complying with new transgender laws

(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota Superintendent of Schools Kirsten Baesler says she won't comment on the announcement that Fargo Public Schools won't follow new state laws pertaining to transgender students. 

in a written reply to WDAY Radio Now, Baesler says "this is a matter for the Fargo School Board". 

One of the new bills just signed by Governor Burgum states school officials are not allowed to withhold information from a parent or guardian related to how their child self-identifies while at school.
