(Fargo, ND) -- The White Earth Police Department and the U.S Marshals are searching for a man who left an addiction treatment center in Minnesota.
Federal authorities are searching for 52-year-old Francis Tuffy Durant. Durant was convicted and waiting for sentencing for federal charges involving the distribution of controlled substances and possession of a firearm that was involved in an investigation from the White Earth Police Department in 2022. Durant is 5'8", 230 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. Authorities say he was last seen when he left the Bethel Halfway House in Duluth, MN on April 29th. In the notice by the U.S Marshals, they accuse Durant of saying in a previous stop he would not go back to prison, and that he is willing to shoot it out with law enforcement.
