Bill defining abuse-related Mental Injury clears North Dakota House

(Bismarck, ND) -- A proposed North Dakota House bill looks to define mental injury as it relates to child abuse cases in the state.

House Bill 1492 would clarify what qualifies as injury impacting the psychological capacity or emotional stability of a child victim.

It's the first of its kind in the state.

HB-1492 has cleared the House and is now onto the State Senate for consideration.
