(Bismarck, ND) -- The woman who conspired with another man to kill her husband and destroy evidence of their crime faces life in prison with the possibility of parole.

Court officials in Bismarck say 41-year-old Nikki Entzel was sentenced yesterday after a jury convicted her of conspiring with Earl Howard to kill Chad Entzel and collect on an insurance policy. Under the terms of her sentencing, she must serve at least 36 years and a little over three months behind bars before she can qualify for possible parole. Howard was sentenced to 25 years in prison a little over a year ago.
