(Bismarck, ND) -- Vaccination rates among Kindergartners are down in North Dakota.

State immunization monitors say the rate of fully vaccinated Kindergartners dropped one percent between 2020 and 2021.

Officials say this follows a national trend connected to parents' fears that have emerged during the pandemic.

Health officials call the trend alarming and a threat to the eradication of several childhood diseases.
