Williston Police respond to threat issued to city's high school

(Williston, ND) --  A juvenile is in custody following a reported threat to a student at Williston High School Tuesday afternoon.

The Williston Police Department says they received a report of threatening messages sent to a student via text. Authorities located the the suspected message sender, an unnamed juvenile who is currently in custody. Williston High School staff placed a temporary hold on instruction, which has since been lifted, as a precaution. The police department says the incident seems to be isolated.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
