(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Supreme Court is considering how to proceed with an appeal by late convicted quadruple murderer Chad Isaak.

The court heard arguments Thursday, with attorneys focusing on whether Isaak's conviction for murdering four people at a Mandan business should be erased.

Isaak committed suicide in July at the State Penitentiary before the high court ruled on his appeal.

The court will rule on the matter at a future date.
