(Bismarck, ND) -- Governor Doug Burgum is previewing budget proposals to boost communities' workforces.
The governor outlined his proposals at the Main Street ND Summit in Bismarck Tuesday. The governor's budget package includes proposed legislation to allow communities to rejoin the state's Renaissance Zone Program.
The Renaissance Zone initiative uses tax incentives to promote commercial and residential development to revitalize communities.
The governor's total workforce package would cost more than 20-million dollars.
