(Ray, ND) -- Two people are injured following a pickup truck and farm tractor rear crash in Williams County.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a tractor with a bailer, driven by 67-year-old Thomas Daniel, was traveling eastbound on Highway 2 west of Ray. Officials say a pickup with a gooseneck trailer, driven by 31-year-old Kyle Henson, was driving behind Daniel when Henson "failed to see the slow-moving tractor being driven by Thomas Daniel," and struck the tractor. Henson's vehicle came to rest in the south ditch, where he had to be extricated by authorities.

Both Henson and Daniel suffered serious injures from the crash. They were both taken to the Tioga Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
