(Bismarck, ND) -- The Democratic-NPL party will not have a nominee on the November ballot for a seat in Congress.

Mark Haugen has suspended his campaign and says he doesn't see a way for him to win the race.

The Dem-NPL-endorsed candidate also cited pressure from this own party over his pro-life position.

Former Miss America Cara Mund is running as a pro-choice independent and will face off against incumbent Kelly Armstrong if she submits at least a thousand signatures of support by the end of business Tuesday.
