(Bismarck, ND) -- Many North Dakotans and Minnesotans are anticipating the latest Mega Millions drawing.
Here's a reminder too that you don't have to tell anyone if you win tonight's record Mega Millions jackpot. Minnesota and North Dakota are two of 17 states where lottery winners can remain anonymous. Minnesota lawmakers adopted a new law last year that allows jackpot winners to keep their names and hometowns secret.
The top prize has topped one-point-one billion dollars, leading many to take their chances on winning. The cash option works out to be just over 648-million.
The drawing takes place Friday night.
