(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota lawmakers are reviewing the Legislature's workplace harassment policy and its approach to handling complaints.

The Legislative Procedure and Arrangements Committee met yesterday to go over the policy. The review comes nearly 16 months after Republican then-Representative Luke Simons was expelled for workplace and sexual harassment of women at the Capitol.

No votes were held, but the committee agreed on more training for top lawmakers who will then serve as points of contact for receiving complaints.
