Burgum backed PAC sees mixed results in Legislative primaries

(Bismarck, ND) -- The Dakota Leadership Political Action Committee backed by Governor Doug Burgum is seeing mixed results in Tuesday's legislative primaries.

The group targeted ads in eight districts, but saw defeats in District 33 and District 8.

Dakota Leadership Chairman Levi Bachmeier said in a statement that the primary election was "a major victory for North Dakota's future."

Burgum donated more than a million dollars to the group's primary election efforts.
