(Ward County, ND) -- Bradley Morales is pleading guilty to the 2017 murder of the mother of his children, Sharmaine Leake.
The plea came on the third day of a retrial where Morales chose to defend himself. Morales was being retried after the North Dakota Supreme Court found that the Ward County District Court had violated his right to a public trial by closing eight hearings to the public.
Sentencing for the 32-year-old hasn't been scheduled yet.
