(Rugby, ND) -- A Rugby church that was in disrepair has been preserved by a group of volunteers.
Volunteers worked to revitalized the Tunbridge Lutheran Church five miles west of Rugby. The Tunbridge Lutheran Church Preservation Society is hosting an open house on May 28th to celebrate the completion of the first phase of repairs.
The roof and siding have been replaced, the exterior was painted, and the steeple was rebuilt. The ceiling and floor of the front entryway were also replaced.
The church was originally build in 1914 and replaced the original church, which burned down after a lightening strike.
