(Minot, ND) -- Multiple Oklahoma aircraft have been moved to Minot following severe weather in the panhandle state.

Officials say four E-3 Sentries were placed in North Dakota. The aircraft belonged to the Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, and have been temporarily placed in Minot's Airforce Base.

Several tornados ripped through areas of Oklahoma and Texas, leading to heavy flooding and property damage. Officials cite this as the instigating incident and a key reason for the move.
