(Mott, ND) -- The Hettinger County Sheriff's Office says the bodies of an Oklahoma couple swept away in the flooded Cannonball River have been found.

Authorities say Patrick and Joan Blake were visiting Mott Sunday when they tried to drive through a low crossing with three to four feet of water covering the road. The woman called 911 saying the truck had lost traction and had slipped into the river.

The pickup with their bodies inside was found about a quarter-mile from where they entered the river.
