(Dickinson, ND) -- North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is announcing a keynote speaker at this year's Summit on Innovative Education.
Retired Air Force General Craig McKinley will provide " a message of hope and opportunity in how the essential skills for life and learning are critical for the success and well-being of every child," according to the press release announcing Gen. McKinley's participation.
The summit this year will be directed towards essential skill development for life and learning. Awards for several categories within the education field will also be given out. Categories include Frontline Innovation, Collaborative Culture, System Transformation, and Student Leadership.
