(Bismarck, ND) -- Two separate acid spills are responsible for blocking traffic in Bismarck.

Crews responded to the 24-hundred block of Centennial Road Thursday morning after a "smoking green substance" from a broken, one-fallen plastic container was found. A hazardous materials team determined it was acid, which was neutralized.

Crews received a similar call shortly afterward in the 29-hundred block of Broadway Avenue. Another broken, one-gallon plastic container was found leaking acid. The spills were both cleaned up and there were no reported injuries.
