(Minot, ND) -- New details are being released about the suspect in the murder of Anita Knutson.
Court records show 34-year-old Nichole Rice has been released on bail, despite previously failing to appear in court for a separate charge. A 2012 McHenry County Court affidavit shows that Rice was then known as Nichole Bakken and failed to appear after pleading guilty to two counts of issuing checks without sufficient funds. She was ordered to serve six months of unsupervised probation and to pay court fees and fines.
Rice pled guilty in 2013 to misdemeanor bail jumping and was ordered to complete 30 hours of community service, one year of unsupervised probation and pay court fees and fines.
