Bismarck police officer attacked with weapon at Bismarck airport

(Bismarck, ND) -- Bismarck police say a man with a weapon assaulted an officer at the Bismarck Airport.

Police say 34-year-old Christopher Fonseca attacked and cut the officer Monday. Both Fonseca and the officer were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Fonseca is charged with aggravated assault. The officer is expected to be okay.
