(Stanley, ND) -- A man is dead following a pre-dawn vehicle crash south of Stanley, North Dakota.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the as-yet-unidentified, 26-year-old victim was in his parked vehicle on the wrong side of ND Highway 8 when it was hit by a semi tractor-trailer driven by a Utah man shortly after midnight about 20 miles south of Stanley.

No other injuries were reported, and Troopers say the other driver won't face charges in the incident, which remains under investigation.
