Another former NDHP officer accused of sexual assault at party

(Bismarck, ND) -- Another former North Dakota Highway Patrol officer is facing accusations of sexual assault in connection with a party in 2020.  

Bismarck Police say a woman has accused 40-year-old Travis Skar of touching her inappropriately at the party, despite being told no. Charges were filed Tuesday.  

Records show 39-year-old former NDHP officer Steven Johnson was also charged with sexual assault for a different incident around the same time. Skar and Johnson are listed as witnesses in each other's cases.
