(McKenzie County, ND) -- A McKenzie County Deputy is recovering after being involved in a crash.
The crash happened Monday morning on Highway 23 east of Watford City. Officials say Deputy Ray Beebe attempted to make a U-turn and failed to account for passing traffic, colliding with a pickup. Beebe suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup wasn't injured and the traffic was blocked for several hours as the wreckage was cleared.
