ND oil output falls

Bismarck -- State officials say North Dakota's oil-output numbers fell slightly in October.  According to a Department of Mineral Resources spokesperson, production remained largely flat, with a zero-point-three-percent drop of roughly 37 hundred barrels from September.  Meanwhile, natural gas output dropped by about one percent.

In more positive news, industry officials report that North Dakota's current total of 17,163 producing wells marks a new record.
