(New Town, ND) -- A New Town college is making a major financial commitment.
Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College officials announced Thursday that they have plans to forgive one-point-three million in student debt. The news follows an August announcement that over 200-thousand in debt was forgiven for students enrolled from fall 2020 through summer 2021.
The plan is intended to provide relief for students struggling during the pandemic. Balances from fall 2021 are not eligible for forgiveness.
