(Medora, ND) -- The Theodore Roosevelt Library in Medora is bringing in a disputed statue of the president.

The statue had been displayed in front of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Officials with the museum said Friday that the long-term loan will last until 2026.

The New York City Public Design Commission voted in June to remove and temporarily store the statue after extended debate.
