(Bismarck, ND) -- The North Dakota Department of Health says it has received 18-thousand of the newly approved pediatric COVID-19 vaccine.
The FDA has authorized emergency use of the vaccine for children between five and eleven-years-old. NDDoH Immunization Program Director Molly Howell says healthcare providers are in the process of "educating staff and updating protocols." Howell says vaccination of children is underway.
