State Officials Celebrating Success of Wildlife Underpass in Medora

(Medora, ND) -- State officials are celebrating the success of a wildlife underpass in Medora.

Officials with North Dakota Game and Fish say bighorn sheep are now using the route, meant to reduce the number of animals crossing the road in the area. Mule deer have also been using the underpass.

The goal is to keep drivers from encountering or hitting the wildlife that may want to cross the road in the area.
