(Minneapolis, MN) -- A new attorney is representing former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in his upcoming appeal.
Court documents state that William F. Mohram will represent Chauvin in his appeal after he was convicted of murdering George Floyd back in April. He was sentenced to just over 22-years in prison.
In addition to his conviction, Chauvin also faces federal charges that he violated Floyd's civil rights. He entered a plea of not guilty to those charges.
