Minnesota-Based Coffee Chain Pleads for Patience Amid Staff Shortages

(St. Louis Park, MN) -- Minnesota-based coffee chain, Caribou Coffee, is pleading for patience with customers amid a staff shortage.

Employees say customers want their coffee and don't have much time to wait, but they're so short staffed that it's almost like a race. This has caused tensions to rise and in some cases yelling from customers at employees.

Managers say the hiring shortage is the worst it's been in over a decade that they have been there. Officials with the company say students returning to school contributed to the shortage and they're working to recruit and hire more employees.
