North Dakota National Guard Heading to US-MX Border

(Bismarck, ND) -- Over one-hundred members of the North Dakota National Guard are being deployed to the U.S.-Mexico border.

About 125 members left the state over the weekend to be deployed for one year for this border security mission.

Governor Doug Burgum sent off the members on Friday along with their families and friends, saying there is no doubt that this group will once again prove that they are among the best guards in the country on this mission.
